Why scheduling your meetings has historically been excruciating

Problem #1

Your internal team doesn’t have a single pane of glass (single webpage) to see…

  1. who externally does your internal team hope to meet with
  2. what your internal team wants to talk to them about
  3. what are the objectives of this specific meeting
  4. what are the larger business objectives with these external people being met with

Problem #2

MANY calendars all need to line up for meeting to occur

  • As an example, imagine a meeting of 3 internal, 2 external people.
  • There’s more than one just calendar here, there’s really 11 to 15 calendar tracks at minimum
  • Each of these 5 people has 2 sets of items on their calendars. 10 total
    • Event Sessions they are attending
    • Meetings they are attending
    • That’s 10 event tracks total!
  • Of course this meeting of 5 people needs to happen privately in a meeting room. Because there’s only so many meeting rooms, so meeting room availability needs to be factored in as well. Assuming you have 3 meeting rooms, you’ll need to factor in those 3 schedule tracks as well.
  • That’s 13 TOTAL event tracks that all need to be layered on top of one another to find a time that lines up for everyone AND when a meeting room is available.

Problem #3

There are three main problems.

  • Your team doesn’t have a central software which allows internal team members to arrange and easily send meeting invites on behalf of coworkers.
    • Sometimes invites need to be sent “from” high-level executives to external VIPs but actually are actually coordinated and sent by staff.
  • Team members don’t have a central way to send and manage calendar invites.
    • Without Cadence, calendar invites are owned by one person and can only be sent or updated by that one person. What happens when they aren’t available?

Can I use this platform to manage both virtual and in-person events?

Event Cadence was designed and built to support both in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. Whether it’s a small in-person investor conference or a global virtual conference, Event Cadence has the features, capabilities, analytics, and support team to support your event.

Event Cadence offers two levels of app and web interface customization.

The first is a simple white-labeled deployment where we take deploy a copy of the Event Cadence app to the Apple iOS App Store and Google Play Store with your business name, logos, and imagery. In a sentence, it’s the exact same app as Event Cadence but it’s YOUR own unique branded event app on the app stores.

The second option is far more involved where your team and ours can work together to make substantial modifications to the Event Cadence app and environment. Our engineering team can build almost anything you need, schedule a demo below to start the conversation.

Event Cadence has its own built-in registration platform which is included with your license.

We also have tight integrations with several other registration platforms like Cvent and EventBrite.
